As the digital camera isn't working, I've resorted to scanning these in directly with the scanner.

oh great Azziria! (it must be a bit uncomfortable to walk around with a scanner and computer and scan the things, he, he... I'm just joking) Result is great anyway! Hope you're going to solve problem with camera soon (it sounds to me as a software problem) Sun 21-Sep-2003 10:35

My digital camera is broken

It works fine when I use the flash, but pics taken under normal lighting conditions come out very strange indeed.

These pics should be brown, red and orange... see what I mean?

I see that it looks great! Amaizing..but I believe you, it must be terrible...Hope you solve the problem soon! We miss you! Tue 16-Sep-2003 12:58

I'm trying to make the most of a bad situation, but the range of colours it will allow me is somewhat limited!

To complicate matters the camera was purchased in Japan and is a model they've never sold here in the UK, so the camera shop are having to consult a higher authority on whether/how to fix it. *sigh*

Self portraits

Back from holiday and reunited with my digital camera (took 7 slide films while away and am currently waiting to get them back from the lab - I realise how impatient digital photography has made me!).

Was messing around last night without using the flash (the battery was low on the digital) and took a couple of self portraits which I thought were rather fun.

Great! Tue 2-Sep-2003 09:05

Sunflowers

Pics of sunflowers taken in my front garden.

I'm off on holiday for 2 weeks now, with no internet access (camping in the Swiss Alps) so I won't be posting for a while - but hopefully I'll have lots of lovely mountain pics to post when I get back.

It'll be interesting for me - because we're camping I can't recharge the digital camera (thought about buying an in-car charger, but don't intend to be doing enough driving to keep the batteries charged), so it's back to good old slide film for me for the next fortnight. I think that means I'm going to have to stop and think about what I'm photographing a bit more - no instant feedback from the camera screen!

See you all in September!

Cool and nice shots! This ones and the others also! Bravo! ) Fri 22-Aug-2003 21:11

A misty morning on the village green

This is right by my house. It was a very monochrome morning because of the fog, and I wanted to see how it would photograph.
